- Melt butter, and put in a small mixing bowl.
- Mix spices and herbs in a mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
- Roll each chicken tender individually in the butter and then in the herb/spice mix.
- Heat a large cast iron skillet to medium high and add your choice of fat to fry the chicken tenders in. We personally use refined coconut oil or bacon grease.
- Once cast iron skillet is hot, add the chicken. Once you put the chicken in the skillet, do not move them. Cook the chicken tenders in the skillet for 3 minutes or until the edges begin to turn white. Once edges are white, flip the chicken tenders over, cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- If you are cooking large amounts of chicken tenders, place them on a baking sheet in an oven at 200 degrees to keep warm. This will ensure that the chicken tenders stay warm and crispy while the others are frying in the cast iron skillet.
- After the chicken is cool enough to handle, serve warm.
